The Banks Failed Us (Maybe Except for Bank of America)
The Bank Grift
In what appears to be another moment in the “planned negligence” of the 2026 World Cup, Wells Fargo, Chase, Bank of America, and Capital One ran poorly organized “special access promotions” for World Cup tickets to select customers. I was able to obtain two tickets via Bank of America, but only after loggin back in two hours later. The overwhelming majority of you couldn’t even access the main page of the portals of these banks. The frustration on how the sale of these tickets is being handle is only increasing as the days count down to the start of the tournament.
