The Intercontinental Playoffs will be Played in Mexico

Last week, Guadalajara and Monterrey announced that they will be hosting 4 matches of the Intercontinental Playoffs for World Cup 26, with the last two spots for the tournament up for grabs! Specific match dates haven’t been finalized, but the games will be hosted between March 23-31. These matches could be a “budget-friendly” alternative to enjoy the World Cup vibes before the actual tournament next summer, as these games are basically emulating the “play-ins” of the NCAA March Madness.
