339 Days to Go!
Mexico won the Gold Cup, in front of a sold-out NRG Stadium. Seemed like another good preview to the 2026 World Cup!
I’ve partnered with Absolut Sport to sell 2026 World Cup travel packages, which would include your game day ticket, hotel, and game day transportation between the stadium and hotel, among other perks. If you are interested, please email me for more more information. |
These travel packages are perfect for those who find travel planning stressful and just want someone else to handle it! Absolut Sport are Official Travel Partners with CONMEBOL, and have years of experience in the sports tourism industry. |

My Quick Thoughts on the Gold Cup and Club World Cup
The Club World Cup ended up being a great idea by Infantino, but greedy ticket prices and poor scheduling really affected the overall vibes of this tournament.
The knockout rounds of the Club World Cup appear to have peaked the interested of the fans more so, helped yes by the reduction of ticket prices. I’m afraid people might overpay for the final 3 matches of this tournament, though.
Similar aspects affected the Gold Cup as well, but I will admit it was great to see a sold-out NRG Stadium for the Final, with no ICE issues reported. It’s really assuring to see this.
Featured in Germany!
I gave my thoughts on the threat posed by ICE on the Gold Cup and Club World Cup to Germany’s Tagesspiegel. The article is in German so you would need to use Google Translate 😄
